LeverageRank contains affiliate links to crypto exchanges. If you click one and register or start trading, we earn a commission from that exchange. Our rankings and fee data don't change because of it, and for several exchanges, registering through our link also gets you a discount on trading fees.
How it works
Every exchange link on LeverageRank routes through a /go/[exchange] URL, for example /go/bybit. That redirect carries a referral parameter the exchange uses to credit us.
We get paid in two situations: you register through our link, or you trade within the window set by our agreement with that exchange. The commission structure varies by exchange, and we don't publish the commercial terms of individual contracts.
What this means for you
The exchange's price to you doesn't change. Affiliate commissions come out of the exchange's marketing budget, the same budget that funds ads and sponsorships. Your trading fees don't carry any of that cost.
Several exchanges pay you too. Registering through our links comes with a referral discount on trading fees, on top of whatever the exchange already offers:
| Exchange | Referral discount for you |
|---|---|
| Bybit | Up to 20% off trading fees |
| OKX | Up to 20% off trading fees |
| Binance | Up to 20% off trading fees |
| Hyperliquid | 4% off for new accounts, on the first $25M of trading volume |
That discount and our commission both come from the exchange's marketing budget. You can skip it: register on the exchange's own site, pay the standard fee, and we earn nothing from your account.
Rankings stay independent. Our fee and leverage data comes from each exchange's public API. Nobody on our team hand-edits a number to make a higher-paying partner look better, and a partnership doesn't move an exchange up the page. If an exchange has weak liquidity, a bad withdrawal record, or a restriction that matters to traders, we say so, whether or not we have a commercial relationship with it.
We don't sell placement. No exchange can pay for a better position in a ranking or comparison table. Every number on the page comes from the same public API, regardless of who's paying us.
Which exchanges are partners
Most exchanges covered on LeverageRank are current affiliate partners. That list changes as partnerships start and end, so we don't keep a separate public register of it. If a page has a "Visit [Exchange]" button or a /go/ link, that link is an affiliate link. When we cover an exchange without a partnership, we still include it if it matters to a trader's decision.
